Metal Embossing

Embossed Elegant Lady

Thank you for sharing!
Embossed Elegant Lady is a beginners metal embossing project.

I finished the Embossed Elegant Lady for the Metal Embossing Series and just had to show her off.

Information on the how-to for this project can be found in both the 3rd and 4th installments of my Mini Series on Metal Embossing Basics or by clicking here:  Embossing Using Stencils  and  Adding Color to Metal

This project is a great example of crafting using metal and stencils for texture.

I love using stencils in my work.  This little project took just 10 minutes to emboss and another 15 minutes to cut out and color.  Amazing what you can accomplish in under a half hour!

Debbie, your comment made me chuckle. I'm thinking that it might be nice to be the hubbys only hobby . . .maybe. Thank you for your comment and for popping in. Appreciate it.

This is so beautiful! Is it really that easy? I want to do something like this form my daughters room. Saw your link at BalmtoSoul link up party.

Thank you Diana! Yes, it is very easy provided you have a pattern to follow. The pattern for this elegant lady was basically a simple silhouette. A pattern with a lot of detail, would take more time. I have made some pretty complicated patterns and I am just an embossing novice. Would love to know if you decide to give it a try.
