Happy New Year!!

Hope you had a wonderful and safe New Years.

I live in Missouri where ringing in the New Year brought historic flooding in our area after days of some of the heaviest rains I have ever seen. The flooding has been devastating for so many who have lost loved ones, lost their homes or have been evacuated due to the high water.

Many of the main highways were shut down and closed on New Years Eve. I have never seen anything like it. My husband and I both work on one side of a river and live on the other. Last Wednesday I wondered if I would even be able to make it home as the roads leading across the river were being closed one after the other. My husband and I did finally make it home in the early hours of Thursday morning. Needless to say, once we were home, we stayed put and had a quiet celebration at home with the kids.

Roadways are open again and things are pretty much back to normal for my family, but it will be a long time before so many others will be able to say the same.

Welcome to the Party!

We've been watching the flooding on the news. There is much flooding here in Georgia as well. Having lost everything in the flood of '94 here, I totally understand. Glad you guys were safe!
Happy 2016! Thanks so much for hosting the party.

Aw Shirley, sorry for your loss in '94. No doubt you understand what many families are going through. So many states were affected by that round of weather. Thanks so much for stopping by for Brag About It! Happy New Year to you.

      Hi Maarit,
It is really very easy. Go to the blog post that you want to share and copy your blog post URL. Come to the party post and scroll to the bottom of the post, before the comments and click on the blue button to Add Your Link. It will open a new box for you to past in your blog link URL, then in the next box add a title for your post and finally in the last box, put in your e-mail. It should pull up a picture of your post and if you have multiple pictures, you can choose which one you want to share. When you are finished, you can click to add another link or go back to the party. Let me know if you have any other questions! I'd love to have you share your projects with us 🙂
