Daisy Refrigerator Magnets

Daisy Flower Magnets

Sometimes things fall into your lap and the makeover is pretty obvious.   Such was the case with these Daisy Refrigerator Magnets.  It all started a little less than a year ago when my oldest Daughter and her husband were preparing to depart for an incredible year long adventure traveling the globe.

My daughter had a pile of items that she was planning on donating to the Good Will unless I had a use for any of them.  In the box were these black flower picture frame magnets.

I set them aside knowing exactly what I wanted to do with them, but got busy with other projects until now.   Which is good, because spring time is the perfect time for this particular makeover.

I gave these two coats with a gloss white spray paint.    For the centers, I made three fluffy yellow pom poms.

If you don’t know how to make yarn pom poms, take a look at this tutorial for two different methods.

I used hot melt glue to attach the pom poms in the center of the flowers.
